India has just launched a new project „Garbage Cafe“ where people can get free meals in exchange for plastic waste.

Every day hungry people just  hand over a bundle of plastic for which they get a hot meal in the cafes.   

The meal, for a kilogram of plastic waste, includes rice, two vegetable curries, dal, roti, salad and pickles.

Eat more plant-based diet.

Keep electrical products for at least seven years.

Buy no more than 3 new items of clothing a year.

Swap your car for public transport whenever possible.

Take no more than one flight in every three years.

In winter keep your room temperature at 18°C while wearing appropriate clothing.
