It is not unusual to see ice hockey players fight during a match.

What is unusual, however, is to see a fan get involved in the action.

During a match between Hungarian team Szekesfehervar and Salzburg in the European EBEL league, a fight broke out between players.

While they were fighting, a fan for the home team, Szekesfehervar, started hitting a Salzburg player on his helmet.

The Hungarian team had to to pay an 8000-euro fine for the fan’s behavior.
