According to traditional Chinese medicine there is relationship between emotions  and different organs  of the human body.

Anger is stored in the liver and gallbladder.

Fear is closely related to the kidneys and bladder.

Grief weakens the lungs.

Joy is connected to the heart.

Pensiveness is an emotion of melancholy and affects the spleen.
