Urinating in the streets is considered rude and in many cities around the world it comes with fines up to hundreds of U.S. dollars.

Don’t do it in Brussels  unless you are rich, as the penalty can reach $360. Dubai $130, Seattle  $125, Brighton $120, are considerably cheaper. And just a few bucks of 50 and 30 in New York and Paris, respectively.

India has just launched a new project „Garbage Cafe“ where people can get free meals in exchange for plastic waste.

Every day hungry people just  hand over a bundle of plastic for which they get a hot meal in the cafes.   

The meal, for a kilogram of plastic waste, includes rice, two vegetable curries, dal, roti, salad and pickles.
